Lower Pencubitt lies on the southern side of the town of Liskeard. For visitors arriving by car from the M5 at Exeter, continue on to the A38 Devon Expressway to Plymouth. Remain on the A38 Plymouth Parkway towards Cornwall, crossing the Tamar Bridge into the county. Follow the A38 through to the Liskeard turning, approximately 11 miles beyond the bridge.

Follow signs to Liskeard Town Centre, and then take the B3254 road towards St Keyne, Duloe, and Liskeard railway station. Just a short distance past the station on a left hand bend, take the right turn signposted Pencubitt Hotel. Continue down the hill past the hotel entrance; Lower Pencubitt is a little further on, on the right.

For visitors arriving by rail, Lower Pencubitt is only a short walk from Liskeard station, on the main London-Penzance line operated by First Great Western. Coombe station on the Looe Valley branch line is even closer.
